This page will be utilized to build a data base of science terms for the Unit. Students will be encouraged to add words and summarize definitions from the leveled readers or text book, which would start a student generated dictionary. Since I am introducing the technology, this page would be a great place for students to add input with little frustration. Each student will be required to add at least two words per week in the beginning. Then, I will incorporate adding imagery. The next step will be summarizing the definition which students could review, edit or add to if desired. We could also compare the original summary to the one in progress at different times throughout the unit. Students will also be able to come to this page when creating stories relating to the topic or when writing about current events.
